Depending on the time of year and things you would like to see in Holland it can be advantageous to choose for optimal flexibility by combining private car and bike. Or going by train and bike.
Now, as I normally don't cycle with guests in the centre of Amsterdam, we always start with a short train ride. About 15 minutes to the countryside.
But it is of course possible to explore the country a bit further. You'd be surpised how rapidly the scenery changes, bringing loads of new places of interest into range. All with different stories.
Going somewhere by car can be the readiest way in some situations. For example when there's no train station with bicycle rental available within range of where we want to cycle. This can be the case for tulip regions.
Combination day trips are even more exclusive than regular tours, allowing a maximum of 3 or 4 participants because of logistics.
As with a private car we have full flexibility, there are plenty opportunities for side visits. To check the possibilities please get in touch.
Examples of combinations tours :
Tulips Tour : flowering tulips and other springtime bulb flowers. Possible from March to May, depending on winter and early spring temperatures. Click on image for more information.
